My Writing

I write fiction, the kind best described as literary fiction. I’ve written many short stories and I’m currently working on two novels, one that is complete (and I hope to find a publisher for!) and the other that is still in its first draft. My writing has been shortlisted for the Quebec Writing Competition and the the CANSCAIP Writing for Children Competition (Young Adult Novel Category) and twice longlisted for the CBC Short Story Prize. I was also a finalist in the Writers’ Union of Canada Short Prose Competition. My stories have appeared in an anthology by Vehicule Press and Montreal Writes.

“The whole town is out looking for him, little Jimmy, the son of the local grocer. I wish they would focus more on finding the person who killed him. They won’t be able to save little Jimmy, but maybe they could find me before it’s too late.”
